A new decade, the second of this millennium, has begun a few weeks ago with the onset of 2011. The first decade of the new millennium brought in a lot of changes in the way we perceive economic power centers; it also showed us that uncontrolled ‘capitalism’ and manipulative ways of working cannot be sustained and will eventually lead to recession. Having learnt a few things during the course of the last decade, the world looks at the future optimistically. With the recession showing signs of abetting, there are lots of reasons to be hopeful and cheerful.
